One year postdoctoral position in solid mechanics effective immediately at Texas A&M University in Qatar at light material lab

This position is not located in the United States. Must be willing to relocate to Doha, Qatar.

This position is funded by Research and Graduate Studies as part of the Mechanical Engineering Program at Texas A&M University at Qatar.
The benefit package includes a salary around 45000 USD for postdoc per year tax free, a full furnished house free of charge, a worldwide health insurance, a car allowance and a travelling allowance.

Position requirements: PhD Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or closely related field, experience in education, scientific research, operational, managerial or experimental work.
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, the ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others in a diverse population.
Experience in finite element modeling, understanding of the theory of plasticity of alloys and code writing under Fortran is highly desirable.
