Computational Biomechanics for Medicine IX: a MICCAI 2014 satellite workshop. First call for papers

This year we are again organising the Computational Biomechanics for Medicine (CBM) Workshop (http://school.mech.uwa.edu.au/CBM2014/) together with the Medical Image Computing and Computer Assisted Intervention Conference (MICCAI) (http://www.miccai2014.org/). This year, the workshop will be hosted by Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Boston, USA, on 14th September 2014.

The CBM workshop, now in its ninth year, began in Copenhagen in 2006, then went to Brisbane (2007), New York (2008), London (2009), Beijing (2010), Toronto (2011), Nice (2012) and last year, Nagoya (2013).

We would like to invite you to submit and present a paper at the Workshop (manuscript submission deadline is 27 May 2014). Papers are 8-12 pages long and follow a Springer template.
The papers will be carefully reviewed and subsequently accepted submissions will be published as book chapters in a “Computational Biomechanics for Medicine” Springer book series. The book contents are ISI-indexed.

The links to proceedings from the previous years can be found at http://cbm.mech.uwa.edu.au/, as well as all the necessary details for the 2014 submission process.

Like last year, Springer will fund the Best Paper Award!

This year, we are delighted to have Prof. Gabor Fichtinger (http://research.cs.queensu.ca/~gabor/) deliver a keynote lecture.

We look forward to seeing you in Boston.

Barry Doyle (The University of Western Australia), Karol Miller (The University of Western Australia), Adam Wittek (The University of Western Australia), Poul M.F. Nielsen (University of Auckland)
