You will perform research and development work using active/passive vibration control measures to reduce vibration of typical offshore structures. You will also develop new
numerical models, new control algorithm, and optimize the locations of actuator/sensors.
Requirements:
· A PhD in Mechanical/Civil Engineering
· Strong background in vibration control using active/passove method such as CLD techniques, structural health monitoring, nonlinear dynamics.
· Computational solid mechanics and finite element simulations
· Composite structures mechanics
· Proficient in ANSYS/ABAQUS, MATLAB, C, C++ or FORTRAN will be an advantage
