Submitted by Xuejun Fan on Thu, 07/12/2007 - 21:26 Can you recommend some good textbooks for Engineering Fracture Mechanics that is suitable for undergraduate students? Ajit R. Jadhav Books on Fracture Mechanics Of the books that were already available by early 1990s, those by the following authors, I suppose, would be accessible to undergraduates. (In no particular order): (i) T. L. Anderson (ii) D. Broek (iii) K. Hellan I have no particular idea about the more recent books. But you may want to check out a recent recommendation by Gururajan at iMechanica for a book by K. Ramesh. Hope this helps. Books on Fracture Mechanics
Of the books that were already available by early 1990s, those by the following authors, I suppose, would be accessible to undergraduates. (In no particular order):
(i) T. L. Anderson
(ii) D. Broek
(iii) K. Hellan
I have no particular idea about the more recent books. But you may want to check out a recent recommendation by Gururajan at iMechanica for a book by K. Ramesh.
Hope this helps.
