Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, USA, is soliciting applications from outstanding candidates for a Postdoctoral Researcher and/or Ph.D. position in Computational Mechanics of Materials and Integrated Computational Materials Science & Engineering. Candidates must have a strong background and interest in computational solid mechanics, computational material science, physical sciences and mathematics.  US Citizenship or US permanent residency status is preferred for this position. 

The post-doctoral researcher will be working with Prof. Somnath Ghosh in the US Air Force sponsored, Center of Excellence in Integrated Materials Modeling (CEIMM) at Johns Hopkins University. CEIMM is engaged in research in multi-scale (from atomistic to continuum) computational modeling of polycrystalline materials (e.g. metals and alloys) and polymer-matrix composite materials.
