PhD Student Position at Rutgers University - 3D Printing of Soft Materials

Submitted by Howon Lee on

Prof. Lee’s group in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Rutgers University has an opening for a PhD student for Spring/Fall 2015 with interests in mechanics of soft materials, 3D printing, and micro-/nano-engineering.

Our group is mainly interested in 3D micro-fabrication and functional soft materials. Interesting physics/mechanics of soft materials is being studied for a broad range of applications in emerging fields such as soft robotics, tunable metamaterials, and biomedical engineering. Please see the attached flyer. For more information, visit http://hleelab.rutgers.edu

Students with strong background in experimental mechanics or/and LabVIEW programming skill are encouraged to apply. Interested individuals should directly contact Prof. Lee (howon.lee [at] rutgers.edu (howon[dot]lee[at]rutgers[dot]edu)).
