The research group of Prof. Weiyi Lu at Michigan State University is looking f
or a passionate and self-motivated Ph.D. student. The research areas include d
ynamic behavior of nanomaterials, advanced nano-composites, solid-liquid inter

Preference:
1. The candidate must have already earned or should soon earn the M.S. degree
in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, or in a closely
related field.
2. Background in materials processing, materials characterization, experimenta
l mechanics, dynamics and/or wave propagation
3. Experience on Matlab, LabView, Solidworks or AutoCAD, Fourier Transform is
a plus
4. Fluent in English, good written and verbal communication skill
