As part of the EPSRC project entitled 'Innovative photomechanical approaches in identification of the dynamic mechanical behaviour of materials', two PhD positions are open to EU/UK applicants.
- EngSci-MATS-130: Exploration of novel high strain rate impact tests for composites based on ultra-high speed photomechanics.
- EngSci-MATS-131: Mapping the elasto-visco-plastic behaviour of welds at high strain rate using ultra-high speed imaging.
