I am trying to apply moving point load on a beam in ABAQUS but not sure which is the best way to do it? Can someone help?

Hi Frank,
Here is an idea.
You can build a new part as a Rigid Point, Rod or Sphere depending on your model for the beam. Define frictionless contact between the Point and beam. Apply displacement and load for the point, and you will have moving load. Hope it work.
