Design and Optimization of Axial, Mixed-flow and Radial Turbines for Turbochargers Webinar

ADT's picture

The turbocharger efficiency has a direct effect on the fuel efficiency of the engine. However in many turbocharger turbine applications it is becoming increasingly difficult to improve the turbine efficiency with conventional design methods.

In this one hour free webinar we will review application of 3D inverse design for the design and optimization of axial, mixed-inflow and radial inflow turbines for turbocharger applications and explain how usage of 3D inverse design methodology helps designers explore larger areas of the design space while improving the component efficiency and maintaining structural and vibration considerations. The webinar will demonstrate live selected cases for:

  • Heavy duty engine turbocharger radial inflow turbine
  • Micro-gas turbine for automotive applications
  • Axial turbine including rotor and stator
  • Improving the efficiency of radial turbine over engine pulse cycle

The webinar will give explanations and examples of how key turbine requirements for high efficiency and strict structural and mechanical performances can be addressed within the 3D inverse design environment.

Wednesday 18th February - Register now.
