ERC RealTCut biomechanics post-doctoral opportunity

POSITION We are looking for a post-doctoral fellow for a duration of 12 to 23 months, available immediately at the University of Luxembourg, in collaboration with Cardiff University. Gross Salary 68,000EUR per annum.

AIM The main aim of the post-doc is to simulate fracture and cutting of soft tissues over multiple scales. We are looking for someone with a strong mechanics and applied mathematics background and excellent coding skills. The successful individual will join a group of 10 post-doctoral fellows at UL and a team of 15 at Cardiff University, where she/he will have ample opportunities to travel.

Objectives The main objective of this ERC Project is to enable faithful simulations of surgical cutting in (quasi-) real-time.
