Vacancy: Simpleware Sales Engineer Germany (DACH) Area

This interesting and varied position will require you to work very closely with R&D departments of a range of blue chip corporate companies, research institutions and universities.

For further expansion of our business in the German (DACH) area, we are looking for a skilled and ambitious Technical Sales Engineer.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Sales of the complete software, services and training portfolio to existing and new customers
• Acquisition of new customers through Sales and Marketing activities such as conferences and workshops
• Build and execute quarterly and yearly business plans and provide sales forecasts
• Improve and expand partnerships within the CAE, CAD and 3D Imaging sectors
• Initial focus on Germany - expansion to the DACH area is an option

Requirements:

• MSc or similar academic level in a relevant technical area
• Experience in sales of complex software solutions in the CAD, FEA, CFD or 3D Image processing industries
• Good knowledge of either image processing, biomechanical or materials modelling
• Domain knowledge in one of the following areas: Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace, Automotive, Materials Science, Geomechanics or Manufacturing
• Experience with one of the leading CAE programs (e.g. Abaqus, Ansys, Comsol, LS-Dyna, Fluent etc.)
• Proactive, customer focused, result driven, ambitious and team oriented personality
• Willing to travel frequently
• Fluent in the German and English languages
• A relevant German network is a prerequisite

Working location: Near any of the main German industrial centres
