tools used in engenering

Good morning ,

My final project in study is concerning mechanical behavior and themal loads for a vaporizer

used in an  incinerator .

But, I should use a free tools.

So I make the design in freeCAD... When I need to mesh the design I am blocked because I can't do this task with FreeCAD.

so I do this strategie:

FreeCAD=> Gmsh=>calculix=>paraview.

Is it a good work in engenering?

another question I need to install gmsh on linux but I failed can you tell me how I can configure

and compile gmsh and calculix on linux? and import the FreeCAD design to linux?

I hope that my qustion is clear?
