2. Current eligibility to work in the US (i.e., must have OPT or green card).

3.  Experience with a minimum of two of the following:

     - Multiscale experimental mechanics of materials

     - In situ SEM/TEM/AFM experimental characterization

     - Mechanics of composite materials, including biomaterials or biomimetic materials

     - Characterization mechanical and electro-mechanical properties of 2D materials

     - Novel device architectures for energy harvesting

4.  A good record of publications.

5.  Strong verbal and written communication skills.

To apply:

Interested candidates should email a CV, cover letter describing work experience and career interests, and the names and email addresses of three references to Professor Horacio Espinosa at espinosa [at] northwestern.edu (espinosa[at]northwestern[dot]edu).
