Call for Abstracts-ASME Society-Wide Micro & Nano Technology Forum, Due on June 22, 2015

Dear Colleagues,

As Co-Chairs of the ASME Society-Wide Micro & Nano Technology Forum (Track 17-18),  we plan to present a unique opportunity to demonstrate ASME’s leadership in the field of micro and nanotechnology and collaboration across ASME Divisions. Initiated in 2002, the Forum focuses on the dissemination of state-of-the-art advances in micro- and nanotechnology by top researchers from around the world. The Forum also allows graduate students and post-doctoral associates to network with leaders and advocators in micro- and nanotechnology and to be recognized for their hard and creative work. In IMECE 2013 in San Diego, we had more than 200 poster presentations in the Forum and we expect more participants in IMECE 2015.

We are currently accepting abstracts for the Forum. The deadline for the abstract submission is June 22, 2015.  In each division, there will be three $500 awards for the best posters.

We look forward to your participation in the forum.

Thank you.

Sincerely,

Hadi Ghasemi, PhD, University of Houston, hghasemi@uh.edu

SungWoo Nam, PhD, University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, swnam@illinois.edu

Xiaobo Yin, PhD, University of Colorado, xiaobo.yin@colorado.edu
