Immediate opening for a post-doctoral researcher in the area of coatings tribology

Candidate should have a doctoral degree in Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science or Mechanical Engineering awarded within the past 2 years or expected within the next 6 months (i.e. prior to July 2016). A strong research background on the friction, wear and surface engineering of protective and solid lubricant coatings is expected. The PDF will support a number of active research projects in tribology, including development of duplex coatings for the hydropower industry, space technology and aerospace industries, and also fundamental studies on developing the cold spray technique to prepare composite coatings with good tribological properties.
