XVIII ICMFM - Deadline for abstract submission extended and journal publication

Dear Colleagues

 

We kindly inform you that the Abstract Submission Deadline of the XVIII International Colloquium on Mechanical Fatigue of Metals (XVIII ICMFM) to be held in Gijón, Spain, has been extended until the 20th of February of 2016. Moreover, the registration is already open.

We would like also to remind you the organization of two Special Sessions in the frame of the Colloquium, being both still open to receive papers related with the corresponding topics:

-          Internal Fatigue Crack Initiation and Growth in Metals”, organized by Eberhard Kersher from University of Kaiserslautern, Germany, and Sefanie Stanz-Tschegg, from University of Natural Resources and applied Life Sciences, Vienna.

-          “Fatigue in Nuclear Plant Materials”, organized by INCEFA in the frame of a Horizon 2020 project.

And finally, it is a pleasure for us to communicate that authors will have the opportunity to publish their paper in Special Issues of relevant journals, as Engineering Fracture MechanicsInternational Journal of Structural Integrity and Fracture and Structural Integrity (journal from the Italian Group of Fracture). All the information is available in the Conference website: http://icmfm18.org
