3D Image Visualization, Analysis and Model Generation with Simpleware
Date: Wednesday, March 16, 2016
Time / Venue: 10:30am - 12:00pm: Boston Marriott Cambridge, 50 Broadway, Cambridge, MA 02142
Time / Venue: 2:00pm - 3:30pm: Regus Newton, Riverside Center, 275 Grove St #2, Newton, MA 02466
Who should attend
These technical seminars are aimed at those interested in visualizing, measuring, and meshing 3D image data to generate models for 3D Printing, CAD, and FEA simulations. We will demonstrate the ease of obtaining statistics and high fidelity meshes from 3D image data, and will show the workflow of processing data for a variety of applications. If you are working in areas such as Materials Science, Geophysics, Biomechanics, Non-Destructive Evaluation and Reverse Engineering, then these seminars are for you.
You will learn how to:
Visualize and process data from a wide range of imaging modalities (CT, MRI, microCT, FIB-SEM...)
Obtain measurements and statistics such as porosity, volume, fracture dimensions...
Import and position CAD files within the image data
Calculate effective material properties of scanned samples
Directly export to all leading FE/CFD solvers, e.g. Comsol, Ansys, Abaqus...
Use Simpleware software in your industry field, for example Aerospace, Oil & Gas, Consumer Products, Automotive, and Medical Devices
Bring your own data and arrange personalized software demos
Attendees are encouraged to bring or send their own image data to get personalized support after the seminar. All data will be treated confidentially, and a secure FTP site will be available before the seminar.
Registration
The seminar is FREE but pre-registration is required as places are limited.
