import solid works15 to ansys 14

Hi friends,

I have a model in solid works to has three laminate. I want to create the model in ansys. I saved it with suffixes parasolid, iges and step But ansys didn't show it. How can I Import it in ansys? please help me.

can I import this model in workbench and then create it in ansys? How should do this work.

model is showed below:

you can import solidworks models by saving file as a Parasolid(x_t) file. And further, check ansys add-ins menu in solidworks, by this you can import solidworks files directly to ansys workbench.
