Thank you, Arash, for your kindness.  I've been going back and forward between "counterexample" and "nonexample" myself.  What's good the word to use in this context?  I will use your comments in revision.

Dear Zhigang:

You’re welcome. I would simply use “example” for all of them. In some you have sets and operations that satisfy the mentioned properties and in some they don’t.
