Project title: NUERICAL MODELLING OF FRP REINFORCED CONCRETE ELEMENTS UNDER FATIGUE LOADING

Duration: 6 months

Possible start date: from September 2016 to January 2017.

The Experienced Researcher must have a background in numerical modelling of reinforced concrete elements. The six months’ research topic is focussed on the FE modelling of the bending fatigue behaviour of GFRP reinforced concrete structural elements.

The candidates are eligible if comply with the restrictions of Marie Curie - People-ITN ER program (see http://ec.europa.eu/research/mariecurieactions/index_en.htm):

-        Research experience between 4 and 5 years,counted from the diploma that gives the rights to embark in the position,calculated at date of recruitment.

-        Have not reside or carried out their main activity (work, studies, etc) in Italy for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately prior to October 2013.

Research Fields:  Engineering - Civil engineering.

Career Stage: Ph.D. or 4 years of research experience (Post graduate).
