Post-doctoral positions in the Center for Advanced Research in the Engineering Sciences, and the Institute for Materials, Manufacturing, and Sustainment at Texas Tech, Lubbock, TX

I belong to the Lab of Professor Satya N Atluri  (http://www.depts.ttu.edu/coe/CARES/atluri.php ).  Professor Atluri asked me to advertise in Imechanica that he will have 5 or 6 Post-doctoral positions in his labs, the Center for Advanced Research in the Engineering Sciences, and the Institute for Materials, Manufacturing, and Sustainment at Texas Tech. Those possessing Ph.Ds in applied mechanics, applied mathematics, Bayesian statistical methods, Kalman and Particle Filter theories, damage precursors and damage development in heterogeneous materials with complex microstructures, analytical and computational materials science, engineering and mechanics, multiscale damage mechanics, stochastic topology optimization, and advanced modeling methods which enable near-real-time computation, etc. are sought.  Qualified candidates from around the globe are encouraged to contact Professor Atluri directly at: snatluri.ttu@gmail.com . Professor Atluri also wishes to announce that there will be about 6 faculty positions available in the above areas of research. Qualified candidates , who are graduates of highly-rated Ph.D programs, and who have substantial prior post-doctoral experience, are requested to contact Professor Atluri.
