Faculty Positions in Mechanical Engineering at University of Colorado Boulder

The Department of Mechanical Engineering in the College of Engineering and Applied Science at the University of Colorado Boulder invites applications for several tenure-track faculty positions beginning fall 2017. We are particularly interested in candidates with core mechanical engineering disciplinary expertise and demonstrated strong research experience. Priority will be given to the following directions: design and additive/advanced manufacturing, quantum technology/engineering, controls and robotics, experimental fluid mechanics, computational material sciences and engineering, and thermal and energy systems. Candidates must clearly indicate their areas of relevant research expertise in their cover letters. In addition, we are also interested in other candidates with strong records of multidisciplinary research potentially leading to disruptive technologies/innovations; each such candidate must indicate in the cover letter a specific disruptive technology related to his or her research and why it is important to future mechanical engineers and society.
