The journal Extreme Mechanics Letters has just published a special issue on "Frontiers of Mechanical Metamaterials" featuring 14 articles. The papers "provide an ensemble of some of the most recent research themes in the field, focusing on 'extremeโ behavior in acoustic and elastic waves, mechanical response, and thermoelasticity."
