Has some one done any research on Ultrasonics where they have used some softwares to do the simulation. I would like to know more about these cutting procedure especially when they interface with the human tissue. It would give me a better knowledge to proceed with my thesis .

What type of commerical FEM package do you use to do the simulation? ANSYS or ABAQUS? I want to know which of them is better for simulate the ultrasonic guided wave for NDE?
