Job Brief
We are looking for designers who have a passion in technical engineering product design with relevant industry experience. You will be working with the team in BIGHEART to translate researchers’ ideas into reality by visually conceptualising, demonstrating creative skills.
Key Responsibilities
You will work on a variety of interdisciplinary research and development projects (biophysics, chemistry, life science, biomedical/mechanical/ electrical engineering) to create professional level scientific diagrams, 3D CAD drawings, animations and industrial designs for medical engineering products and devices.
You will be working with a research team to create product designs to suit various purposes such as scientific publication, conference presentation, grant funding proposals, research prototyping and product manufacturing.
You will constantly communicate and improve the designs based on the advancement of science and technology, and users feedback. You will also deliver the design output in a timely manner as you may be required to meet with a tight project deadline.
Requirements
- Possess a mechanical or industrial engineering degree or diploma
- Portfolio of professional standard designed figures in related fields
- Proficient knowledge of engineering design software and design tools for 3D rendering
- A good team player
