Applications are invited for a postdoctoral position in Mechanical Engineering at the University of South Carolina, focused on molecular modeling of hybrid fiber-reinforced composite materials. The successful applicant will join an interdisciplinary team of faculty and researchers at the McNAIR Center for Aerospace Innovation and Research. The research involves studying processing-structure-property relationships of hybrid composites.
The successful applicant must have a background in molecular dynamics modeling and knowledge of composite materials. Familiarity with LAMMPS is a plus.
