Why ABAQUS taking unnecessary long time for stiffness proportional damping considered in the model?
For dynamic explicit analysis in ABAQUS, if you provide damping as “stiffness proportional only or mass and stiffness proportional both” it is taking unnecessary long time, but mass proportional it is taking reasonable time, which should not happen. It will be very helpful if anybody can explain?
