PhD position on mechanics of 3D printed biomaterials at SUNY-Binghamton

A funded PhD position is available immediately to work on mechanics modeling for 3D printed biomaterials. The PhD student is expected to conduct continuum modeling and finite element simulation (Abaqus) informed from meso-/micro-scale simulation results and experimental data. You will have intensive collaboration with bioengineers.  MS/BS students with a strong solid mechanics background are encouraged to apply.  Previous experience in developing constitutive models and implimenting UMAT/UEL is desirable.  Please send your CV (including research experience, publications, skills, etc.) to Prof. Pu Zhang by email (pzhang@binghamton.edu).
