A while ago our group has presented a paper on lattice modelling of the impact of surface roughness on the debonding mechanisms in concrete repairs. By using a relatively simple model, we have showed that the influence of surface roughness is more or less purely geometrical, and that it doesn't influence the bond strength too much, but the post peak response is altered.
