<p>Dear colleagues, the 6th European Conference on Computational Mechanics (Solids, Structures and Coupled Problems) (ECCM 6) and the 7th European Conference on Computational Fluid Dynamics (ECFD 7) will be jointly organized in Glasgow, UK. As co-organizers of the Minisymposium „COMPUTATIONAL MODELING AND VIRTUAL TESTING OF COMPOSITE STRUCTURES“ (MS160), we are glad to invite you to present and share your latest research and perspectives in the field of modeling and simulation of modern composite structures. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, - Virtual testing of large-scale structures, - Vibration and fatigue, - Buckling and postbuckling, - Damage and fracture, - Adhesive joints and other joining technologies, - Prediction of residual stresses, - New materials and applications, and - Adaptive systems. You can find the minisymposium’s abstract enclosed to this e-mail. You are kindly invited to submit your abstract via the web tool at http://www.eccm-ecfd2018.org Note that the Submission DEADLINE has been extended to January 31st, 2018.
