Open-PhD Positions in Energy Conversion in Nano Materials and Solar Cells

Energy, Control and Optimization (ECO) https://www.ecolab.tamu.edu/ in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Texas A&M University has two open PhD positions. The research project is about energy conversion in Nano-materials and thin film solar cells. Candidates should have a strong background and interests in Radiative Heat Transfer, Nano-Materials, Nano fabrication, Computational Methods and Machine Learning. Programming experience in MATLAB or Python is necessary. Experience and prior Knowledge of Lumerical FDTD and COMSOL software is a big plus. The starting date for this position is May 2018.
