Idaho National Laboratory (INL) is seeking PhD student internship applicants for high-performance extreme-scale particle mechanics simualtions.
Requirements:
* Familiarity with the Charm++ parallel programming platform <http://charm.cs.illinois.edu/research/charm> is a significant plus.
* Start-from-scratch code development experience in at least one particle-based method, e.g. discrete element method (DEM), smoothed particle hydrodyamics (SPH), dissipative particle dynamics (DPD), etc.
* MPI parallel programming experience in particle modeling methods .
* Proficiency in C/C++ and Linux environment.
