PhD Position in Multiscale Modeling of Hierarchical Materials
A PhD position is open for summer or fall 2018 in Advanced Hierarchical Materials by Design Lab at Louisiana Tech University on multiscale modeling of hierarchical materials with an emphasis on printed materials. The candidates must have earned a B.Sc. (M.Sc. is preferred) degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related fields and have a solid background in theoretical and computational mechanics, specifically continuum mechanics and finite element modeling, and need to have the basic knowledge of writing computer code (preferably using C/C++). Familiarity with micromechanics and phase field simulations as well as knowledge of the software packages COMSOL, and ParaView is desired.

- CV (including list related courses, publications, presentations, projects, and GRE/TOEFL scores)
- Copy of BSc and MSc (if applicable) transcripts
