Abstract submission to Mechanics of Soft Materials (ASME IMECE)

Dear colleagues,

This is a gentle reminder that abstracts are due on July 23rd for presentation only.  Please consider submitting abstracts to our topic on the Mechanics of Soft Materials (Track 12-1) one of the most active areas in the ASME!  Some of our planned sessions are:

12-1 Mechanics of Soft Materials

  1. Active materials
  2. Mechano-chemistry
  3. Mechano-biology
  4. Gels
  5. Mechanical characterization
  6. Degradation, fracture, fatigue
  7. Soft structures, machines, and robots

Important:

  • Please include which session topic you intend for your abstract as your last sentence. For example, your last sentence might read, “This abstract is intended for the Active materials session.” 
  • Please use the same email address for registration and abstract submission.  Every year, several authors submit abstracts with their personal email and register with their institutional email causing some issues.
