Multiple graduate research assistantship and wage positions are available in the Center for Energy Harvesting Materials and Systems (CEHMS) at VIrginia Tech. We expect the student(s) will participate in projects funded by NSF, ONR, DOE and industry, and work on the energy harvesting circuits, power management, and control. The Energy Harvesting and Mechatronics Research Lab and CEHMS directed by Prof Lei Zuo have active research on energy harvesting from vibration, motion, fluid, and heat, using electromagnetic, piezoelectric, and thermometric transducers, at mW to KW scale.  The students can enroll in either mechanical engineering dept of electrical and computer engineering dept. If you are interested, please send your resume to Prof Lei Zuo at leizuo@vt.edu.

The deadline Jan 15th of the graduate school.
