Graduate Student and Post-doc Opportunities at UH

We have openings for a PhD candidate and a post-doc fellow in our research group in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Houston. These positions will focus on the theoretical and computational modeling of damage in advanced materials.

For the PhD position, a strong background in solid mechanics is required; a good background in computational mechanics is highly desirable. 

For the post-doc position, in addition to a strong understanding of solid mechanics and materials, experience in crystal plasticity modeling, coding is highly desirable.
