International Symposium on Leading Edge Erosion of Wind Turbine Blades, 4-6. February 2020, Roskilde Denmark
Dear colleagues,
We would like to invite you to participate at the International Symposium on Leading Edge Erosion of Wind Turbine Blades, which will take place February 4-6, 2020, in the Niels Bohr Auditorium, DTU Risø Campus, Roskilde, Denmark.
The objective of this Symposium is to discuss possibilities to predict, control and prevent leading edge erosion of wind turbine blades, ensuring high reliability of the wind energy generation. The Symposium will bring together experts in the areas of wind energy, meteorology, aerodynamics, coating development, as well as end users, OEMs, wind blade and coating manufacturers. Further, industrial solutions and products for the wind turbine blade protection and testing will be presented. The symposium is organized by Technical university of Denmark, in the framework of two projects: “DURALEDGE: Durable leading edges for high tip speed wind turbine blades” (www.duraledge.dk) and “EROSION: Wind Turbine Blade Erosion-Reducing the largest uncertainties” (http://www.rain-erosion.dk/).
If you wish to make presentation about your investigations in this are or present your products, please send us the title of presentation and abstract before September 10, 2019.
The webpage of the symposium is https://www.conferencemanager.dk/LEEWTB. The flyer is attached.
