(Computational mechanics, structural optimization) Postdoc position in Hanyang University, South Korea (2019~)

This is Prof. Gil Ho Yoon (ghy@hanyang.ac.kr; gilho.yoon@gmail.com, multiphysics.hanyang.ac.kr). Applications are invited for a postdoctoral fellowship in Computational Mechanics and Structural optimization. Eligible applicants must hold a PhD in computational mechanics and structural optimization. Applicants having the background about Finite element, ABAQUS(UMAT), ANSYS and FENICS are welcome.

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the area of coupled problems arising in mechanics and mathematical physics. The successful candidate is expected to have relevant experience in computational implementation of these methods.

The successful candidate will be encouraged to pursue his or her own self-initiated research during the tenure of the fellowship under the supervision of Professor Gil Ho Yoon

The fellowship award is approximately 30,000,000 per year and depending on the performance, there are some incentives. The fellowship is renewable for a second year, contingent on satisfactory progress in achieving the research goals, and subject to the availability of funds.
