One PhD / MS research position is available in Advanced Manufacturing and Medical Instruments (AMMI) Laboratory at the Department of Mechanical Engineering at University of Hawaii at Manoa for Fall 2020.
The research program focuses on robotic (autonomous/automatic) smart needle insertion for therapeutic or diagnostic cancer interventions. Candidates with high self-motivation, experimental and robotic background, and interests in medical robotics, image processing, control, and programming are highly encouraged to apply. Applicants with master degree are preferred but not required.
