The Soft Intelligent Materials Laboratory (https://zhaor.engineering.osu.edu/) directed by Prof. Renee Zhao is recruiting highly-motivated applicants to fill two open PhD positions (one in spring 2020 and one in autumn 2020) at the Ohio State University - Columbus.
Candidates should possess a master's degree in mechanical, materials, or other related engineering fields at the time of enrollment. A strong background in computational mechanics, solid mechanics, material fabrication, materials science, and/or computer programming is desired. Master students are currently in US institutions are highly preferred.
