My research group has two RA positions openings in the near term.
One position is in the area of experimental mechanobiology, where we develop force sensors, measure mechanical force history of cells and tissues in vitro, and correlate the force history to cell functions. We target this RA position to be filled in Spring 2020.
The other position is in computational mechanobiology, where we apply coarse-grained methods and/or phase field methods to unfold the non-equilibrium thermodynamics of cells and tissues. In particular we are interested in how these non-equilibrium thermodymamic processes destroy and create orders in biology. This RA position will be filled in Fall 2020.
