JRF Position in SERB Sponsored Research Project
Mahindra École Centrale, Hyderabad invites applications for the post of a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the SERB sponsored project entitled “Role of antiplane slip waves in rupture dynamics”. The project will involve analytical and numerical studies of a new type of an interfacial elastic wave called the antiplane slip wave.
Eligibility: First class M.E./M.Tech./M.S. in Mechanical/Civil Engineering/Applied Mechanics or M.Sc. in Physics or M.Sc. in Mathematics. Exceptional B. Tech. candidates will also be considered. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied mathematics and scientific computing. Candidates who have qualified GATE/CSIR-UGC NET/DST INSPIRE will be given preference.
Fellowship: Stipend inclusive of boarding/lodging equivalent to Rs. 45,000 per month
Project duration: 3 years
