Shawn Chester (NJIT) and I (Technion) invite you to submit an abstract to the symposium “Modeling and Computational Methods for Polymer Networks and Gels” as part of the Society of Engineering Sciences 57th Annual Meeting (SES 2020). The meeting will take place at the Hyatt Regency Minneapolis during September 28-30, 2020.

This mini symposium is part of Track 7: Soft, Active Materials and Applications in Soft Robotics and aims to:

  • present and discuss the latest advances in the modeling of polymeric networks and gels,
  • present novel computational methods and numerical techniques that can be used to simulate the response of polymer networks and gels
  • forge interactions among active researchers from the field of applied mechanics, biomedical engineering, and materials science and engineering. We welcome theoretical and computational talks that contribute to the field

The deadline for abstract submission is March 17, 2020. Additional information and abstract submission can be found at:

https://ccaps.umn.edu/SES/abstract-submission

Please feel free to contact me (noyco@technion.ac.il) or Shawn (shawn.a.chester@njit.edu) if you have any questions or concerns.

We’re looking forward to seeing you,

Noy and Shawn
