Postdoc Position Available in Atomistic Modeling and Simulations of Nanomechanics and Thermal Science at The University of Virginia

A postdoctoral associate position is available in Dr. Baoxing Xu’s group in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at the University of Virginia.

The successful candidate will work on a project related to nanomechanics and thermal transport of materials and functional structures and their coupling with applications in the design and manufacturing of electronic devices and structures.

The potential candidate should have a Ph.D. degree in mechanics or thermal science with a strong background in atomistic simulations and modeling. An interest in data science and machine learning is a plus.
