Submitted by marco.paggi on

Dear All,

a PhD Student Position at the IMT School for Advanced Studies Lucca is now available within the EU MSCA-ITN-ETN Marie Curie Innovative Training Network project "NewFrac". The topic concerns computational fracture mechanics (phase field and cohesive zone mdoels), for photovoltaic (multi-physics) applications, see:

https://euraxess.ec.europa.eu/jobs/491145

The candidates for such a position must be not Italian, according to the MSCA agreement.

A visiting period in Spain is expected as a part of the PhD programme. The scholarship will be supported by the ITN project for 3 years, at the monthly rate given by the European Commission for Marie Curie scholarships. If needed, the PhD student can profit for a fourth year extension, supported by a scholarship provided by the IMT School for Advanced Studies Lucca (which has a reduced amount as compared to the 3-years MSCA-ITN-ETN scholarship, but we can offer accommodation and canteen services as benefits in the IMT Campus for such a fourth year).

Please apply online based on the above link, by the deadline of June 30, 2020.

The starting date will be November 2, 2020.

Sincerely yours,

Prof. Dr. Ing. Marco Paggi
