Dear All

I hope you are doing well and staying healthy.

I’m writing to you in light of the exciting news that myself and my colleagues Siegfried Schmauder and Felix Sajadi are in the process of editing a multi-contributed book on the topic of "Quality Analysis of Additive Manufactured Metals" to be published by Elsevier in 2022.
The aim of the book will be to provide readers with a firm understanding of the failure and fatigue properties of additively manufactured metals, outlining basic AM processes for metals, strategies for modeling their microstructural features and how those features differ based on the manufacturing process, methods for optimizing their quality, and techniques for analyzing why they fail, among other topics. You can find the project details in the attached file. For your information, the following people accepted our invitation and confirmed contribution in different chapters.

  • R.S. Mishra; Prof. University of North Texas, US
  • A. Moridi; Prof. Cornell University, US
  • F. Liou; Prof. Missouri University of Science and Technology, US
  • M. Leary; Prof. RMIT University School of Engineering, AU
  • A. A. Zadpoor, Prof. Delft University of Technology (TUDelft),  Netherlands
  • R. Loge; Associate Prof. EPFL, Switzerland
  • M. Patrick; Dr. simufact engineering GmbH, Germany
  • W. Y. Yeong; Associate Prof. Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore

It is an open invitation. If you feel the topic of your activity is suitable for this book and if you are interested in being a part of this, Please do let me know. We’d be honored if so.

Best Regards
Javad
