MULTIPLE GRADUATE STUDENT openings in Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering at University of Texas at Arlington, Texas, USA.

Submitted by Ashfaq Adnan on

Our group has several openings for fully-funded graduate students in computational and experimental mechanics of biological and engineered materials. Our primary goal is to link traumatic brain injury (TBI) with multiscale, multiphysics damage evolution in the brain using experimentally verifiable computations and simulations. We are also interested in designing advanced material for TBI protection. Individuals with a bachelors/masters in mechanical/aerospace/bioengineering and a background in solid mechanics, fluid mechanics, atomistic simulations, finite element analysis, biomechanics and traumatic brain injury are sought.

If interested, please email me directly at aadnan [at] uta.edu (aadnan[at]uta[dot]edu) with a subject line: “graduate research assistant (GRA) position for TBI research".
