A Postdoctoral Researcher position is available from September 2021, in the Computational Mechanics Research Laboratory (CMRL) at Johns Hopkins University. Potential applications can be from any relevant field of Science & Engineering.

The PDR will be expected to perform fundamental research in the development of advanced computational models with applications in Multiscale analysis of fatigue and failure of additively manufactured (AM) materials with polycrystalline/polyphase microstructures. The position will require a strong background and comprehension in one or more of the following areas:

(i) Computational Mechanics of Materials,

(ii) Integrated Computational Materials Science & Engineering (ICME),

(iii) Computational Materials Science, and

(iv) Data analytics and Machine Learning

(v) Uncertainty Quantification
