Research Scientist Positions on Composites at Institute of High Performance Computing, A*STAR Research Entities, Singapore

We seek candidates with research experience in computational mechanics:

  • PhD in Mechanical Engineering / Solid Mechanics / Material Science;
  • Specialization in mechanics of composite materials / numerical modelling of composites.
  • Expertise in finite element analysis;
  • Good coding skills for scientific computing 

Job requirements:

  • Proficient in using commercial finite element tools such as ABAQUS, ANSYS, and/or COMSOL
  • Ability to develop user sub-routines and user defined elements in a commercial FEM platform
  • Proficient in programming skills with good background in Python / Fortran/ C/C++
  • Possess good publication track record
  • Good interpersonal along with presentation and communication skills.
